What is a Merchant Account?

A Merchant Account is a business account that allows you to accept and process payments from credit or debit cards. Merchant Accounts are provided to store owners, whether they are doing business online or have a physical store, by an acquiring bank. An acquiring bank is an institution that verifies the availability of funds, authorizes transactions and obtains and deposits funds from the customer’s bank account into your business bank account.

How long do I have to be in business before I can apply for FastCash?

Can I use my existing equipment?

Do you carry wireless terminals?

Yes! We carry all types of Point-of-Sale equipment. We suggest a wireless credit card terminal if you wish to accept face-to-face transactions out in the field. Good examples of businesses that require a wireless terminal are Service/Repair companies, Taxi/Driver services, and companies that sell merchandise at Trade Shows. Will I be trained to use the credit card terminal?

Yes! You will receive a guide with your terminal that will explain everything you need to know. In addition, when your terminal is delivered we will call to walk you through the set-up process. What is an ISO/MSP?

The acronym stands for Independent Sales Organization/Merchant Service Provider. An ISO/MSP is an organization registered with Visa and Mastercard as well as an FDIC insured member bank. Only an aquiring member bank or a registered ISO/MSP can establish merchant accounts for business owners.

Can I be approved if I don’t have a good credit standing?
